  • Nuts. Brazil nuts contain the most phosphorus, but other good options are almonds, cashews, pine nuts, and pistachios.
  • Beans and Lentils. Especially Great Northern, chickpeas, navy, and pinto beans.
  • Whole Grains. Many whole grains contain this magical macro-mineral, but wheat, oats, and rice contain the most, in that order.
  • Vegetables. Potatoes and asparagus are excellent sources.
